The sun was slipping behind the mountains. Rusty the fox was walking home from the meadow with Mom. He wore his striped scarf around his neck. “Mom, does the forest go to sleep too?” he asked. “It does,” Mom smiled. “Say good night to it.” Rusty thought for a moment and nodded.
