The start of the story

Every evening, a little wooden train chugged through the forest. It had three small carriages and a bell that rang very, very softly. The animals called it the sleepy train. It carried only sleepy passengers, the kind whose eyes closed all by themselves. It stopped at little platforms all through the forest. A platform is a wooden landing beside the tracks, where you wait for the train.
