The start of the story
In the old oak at the edge of the clearing there was a hollow that nobody ever peeked into. Until today. This morning, Rusty the fox and Spike the hedgehog were kicking a pinecone under the oak like a ball. Spike kicked too hard, and the pinecone flew straight into the hollow. A hollow is a hole in a trunk where birds and squirrels keep their things.
