The start of the story
Hoppy the bunny was going to spend the night away from home for the very first time in his life. At Rusty the fox’s den! A sleepover is when you sleep at someone else’s house until morning. Hoppy packed his carrot pajamas, his toothbrush, and his favorite book into his little backpack. Mom tucked one more thing in at the very bottom and gave him a mysterious wink. “Just in case you feel sad,” she said, and kissed him between his ears.
