The start of the story
In the shed behind his den, Rusty the fox had a rocket built from boxes, tape and an old cooking pot. Next to it stood a radio, and every evening he listened to the hum of outer space on it. That evening the radio crackled differently than usual. “Hello… hello…” called a thin little voice. “This is the Planet of Colors. All our colors have vanished. Can anyone hear us?” Rusty put his ear to the speaker, but the little voice had already gone quiet. “I can hear you!” he called. “I’m on my way!”
