The start of the story
Croaky the frog was sitting by the pond, croaking a happy song. Suddenly something glittered in the reeds. Croaky pushed the stalks apart and found a little paintbrush. It had a star at the end of its handle, and its bristles shimmered with every color. “How pretty!” Croaky gasped. “I wonder if it can paint.” On the bank lay a big flat stone, as smooth as a sheet of paper.
