The start of the story
That evening, Rusty the fox couldn’t fall asleep. He went out in front of his den to say good night to the stars. And that’s when he saw it. Above the tips of the pines hung a bright star with a long, fluffy tail. The tail was windswept and curled a little at the end. “It has a brush!” whispered Rusty, glancing back at his own red tail. “Just like me!” A brush is what we call a fox’s fluffy tail.
